• Seventh place finish for Colton Herta at the Honda Indy Toronto

The #88 Capstone Turbine Honda car finished the Honda Indy Toronto in seventh position after qualifying 16th. Rookie Colton Herta was the biggest mover in the veteran-filled field. He passed nine cars during the 85-lap race, six of them on the first lap.
“Pretty solid race for everyone on the team,” said Colton Herta. “The strategy was there, we were fast and the car was great. The pit stops were perfect. The #88 Capstone Turbine Honda did great under the conditions we were in, and it was awesome going from 16th to seventh. Hopefully we can qualify toward the front at Iowa Speedway next weekend so it will be easier to move up through the field.”
This is Herta’s second best finish on the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series schedule after his win at the inaugural INDYCAR Classic at the Circuit of the Americas in March.
“Great day for the HSR team,” said team president, Brian Barnhart. “We’re all very happy to have Capstone Turbine come on board this weekend, so hopefully we did them proud. I thought today’s strategy played out well as we started 16th and the pit stops were excellent. Colton did a great job taking us to 7th, especially going from 16th to tenth on the opening lap. Looking forward to Iowa, and I’m hoping we can do even better there.”
Harding Steinbrenner Racing travels to Newton, Iowa, for the Iowa Corn 300 next weekend at Iowa Speedway. Practice begins Friday, July 19 th  at 11:00 a.m. ET. Saturday’s race day coverage will be on NBC Sports at 7:00 p.m. ET.
